Uncollected Revenue from Public Toilets at Nsawam Adoagyiri Municipal Assembly

Contrary to Regulation of the FAR, 2004 and Regulation 46 of the Public Financial Management Regulations, 2019, it was noted that during the review of revenue management of Nsawam Adoagyiri Municipal Assembly that 15 individuals owed a total amount of GH¢55,100.00 for operating toilets covering the period January 2017 to December 2019.
The failure of the MCDs and the MFOs to ensure that the toilet operators promptly paid revenue accruing from the operations of these public toilets caused the anomaly.
