Non-Compliance with Regulation 147 of the PFMR, 2019 (LI 2378) on Control of Value Books at Ayensuano District Assembly

381. It is recommended that the total amount of GH¢17,700.00 should be recovered from the 10 revenue collectors of Ayensuano District Assembly whilst, the average value of collections per GCR booklet in the year should be computed for each of the 11 GCR booklets and the total amount recovered from the collectors. Failure of which the Coordinating Director, Finance Officers and Revenue Superintendents involved should refund the amount in the IGF accounts of the Assembly. We also recommended that the defaulting revenue collectors should be sanctioned, and Management should step up its supervisory role in revenue collection to avert recurrence.
